Tina's Marriage Testimony

It was the evening of February 18, 2022. When Steve invited me to dinner for the very first time, we ended up talking from 5 p.m. all the way until 2 a.m. That very night, God began to work in my heart. He opened my eyes and allowed me to see the uniqueness of Steve.

When Steve proposed to me, we chose to fast for seven days together, seeking God's heart for our marriage. During those days of fasting and completely relying on God, God personally revealed His will to me regarding our wedding rings. I knew clearly that Steve was God's answer to my prayers, my husband, handpicked and given to me by God.

On March 11, 2022, we officially received our marriage license in Houston. That night, we talked about Jesus, shared Scripture, and prayed late into the night. I will never forget that evening. Our marriage was blessed by God, so sweet and so beautiful.

During the six months we spent getting to know each other, I discovered that every quality in Steve matched exactly what I had prayed for in a future husband.

Deep in my heart, I knew Steve was the man God had prepared for me, crafted with such detail and perfectly tailored to the desires I had brought to Him. God is truly amazing. Even a husband can be prepared so precisely. All glory to God!

Six months later, on October 1, 2022, we held our wedding at the Western Hotel in Houston, under God's blessing.

After marriage, we also faced challenges and even spiritual attacks from the enemy. But we always chose to hold firmly to the biblical truth that marriage is a covenant established by God and must not be broken.

Our marriage was built on Scripture. We learned to change together, to say "I'm sorry," to lay down ourselves for one another, to bring joy to each other, to pray together, and to look to God together. Before God, we made a covenant to build a heavenly, eternal love and marriage.

Steve and I love Jesus more than we love each other. "And whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple." Luke 14:27 (NIV).

The words we said to each other most often were: "My dear love, I love you because you love Jesus and love God."

We often reminded each other: The only reason we can be the best husband and wife is because God transformed our lives.

Now Brother Steve is in heaven with our King Jesus Christ! All glory and honor be to Almighty God!

Tina's Testimony - March 4, 2026

Tina was called as an evangelist by God in 2015 and was baptized in the Holy Spirit and in the name of Jesus at the end of April at an Apostolic church in Houston.

After my baptism, I experienced a very real spiritual attack. During the night while I was sleeping, I dreamed that demons were trying to kill me. This happened because I had previously come from a Buddhist background.

After that, I had another dream about hell. Worms were coming out of my entire body while I was sleeping. This reminded me of the Scripture: Mark 9:48 (NIV) - where the worms that eat them do not die, and the fire is not quenched.

I truly experienced the reality of Bible verses being fulfilled in my own life.

From that moment on, my life was completely transformed. I began seeking God daily, living a life of repentance, pursuing holiness, and reading the Bible daily. Through the years, the Holy Spirit has taught me and guided me to read and understand the Bible as the truth.

Many years later, I thank God for answering my prayers and using my life for His glory. In 2020, the Holy Spirit led me to fast for 40 days.

John 14:12 (NIV): whoever believes in Jesus will do the works He has been doing, and even greater things, because He is going to the Father.

When I prayed for sisters in Christ, God delivered them from demonic oppression and healed their illnesses by the stripes and blood of Jesus.

Tina has been studying the Bible in Apostolic Bible Theology. Today, she leads a Bible study every Sunday night.

I give glory to God, who has given me a new ministry, Welcome Home Missionary Ministry, so I may continue serving our living God and helping people turn their hearts back to God.
